FRONT COUNTER ASSOCIATE

A front counter associate at HELLA GOOD operates a cash register, communicates with guests and assists other restaurant staff as needed. Responsibilities in this career include processing credit card payments, accepting cash payments & making change and using our Toast POS system for transactions. Duties also involve greeting guests, assist with guest issues and maintaining knowledge of the menu. Experience in food service or retail is helpful. Basic math, customer service and communication skills are essential.

Food EXPEDITER

An Expediter at HELLA GOOD is a liaison between the kitchen & the guest and must be comfortable dealing with both groups under stressful conditions. The expeditor's most important job is to make sure each guest gets exactly what they ordered. Responsibilities in this career include reading tickets & assuring ticket times meet or exceed our standards, communicate between the guest & kitchen staff, coordinate & consolidate all outgoing food items from the kitchen assuring high standards of plate presentation & food quality and notify guests when food is ready. Experience in food service, customer service and communication skills are essential.

LINE COOK

A Line Cook is responsible for preparing restaurant food in a timely fashion on a kitchen assembly line—which organizes the assembly of a meal from start to finish. They recreate dishes designed by their head chef. Line cooks are responsible for preparing food by sautéing, grilling, baking or frying. Line cooks are required to keep their stations clean in accordance with food safety regulations. At the end of each shift, a line cook is responsible for cleaning their station. The line cook is responsible for following the directions of the head chef. They are expected to stick to the chef’s vision for any given dish.
